i’m Katharine - owner & travel advisor at the travelisTA.

My passion for travel runs deep. Whether you are close to the ocean, venturing out in a new country or sailing on the ocean, I believe you can do so responsibly and with the intention to support local economies as best as we can.

A BRIEF HISTORY

After completing my bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Criminology, I took one last summer off to Banff, Alberta before graduation. There I worked in a heli-hiking lodge for the summer and fell in love with travel and adventure!

I’ve been with the Flight Centre Travel Group since 2003 working my way up from Consultant to Team Leader in Guelph. I have helped over a thousand travellers just like you with an amazing repeat clientele.

I’ve owned and operated my own business with Envoyage for the past 10 years.

I invest in my education and travel frequently to share my experiences. I love visiting the Riviera Maya, Jamaica, and Hawaii. Paris is always a good idea; I’ve been three times.

Going farther afield, Thailand, Argentina and Brazil will always have a place in my heart.

I can’t wait to chat with you about your travel dreams.
